Cross cultural weddings are always one of my favourite.
Krystal and Ronald are having a wedding exactly like that and I am so honored to be part of their special day.
It started off with hair and makeup prep for the very early morning Chinese tea Ceremony.
The wedding was followed by Krystal’s changing into her stunning white dress for the Civil Ceremony.
Hair and makeup stayed put throughout laughter and tears of joy!
To pay respect to Ronald’s cultural background they were also having a 3rd ceremony, in the traditional Cambodian way. How amazing is the golden setting!
This is how bridal hair and makeup is supposed to be. It needs to be natural enough to still look like yourself but at the same time it needs to give one’s features more definition for wedding photos. Remember the photos are usually taken from a distance so makeup intensity needs to be carefully balanced out to suit for both photo purposes and also for you guests and your groom to look at in person. Sometimes it also needs to be carefully designed in a way so that it fits various cultural settings.
