Grace is from Canberra and she contacted me early on in the wedding planning as she felt it was important for her hair and makeup to be done right for her and her bridesmaid’s Asian features. As an Asian hair and makeup Specialist, I have regularly visited interstates and even overseas for destination weddings so travelling to Canberra is my pleasure. Grace had a zoom consultation session with me prior to the wedding day before I drove to Canberra and stay a night in a hotel she arranges for me. It was an effective way of communicating client’s requirements and expectations when a trial may not be possible due to long distance.
Grace wanted a simple yet classic look for her makeup, which would suit her Chinese Tea ceremony and civil ceremony. I opted for neutral tones eyeshadow and individual lashes for her makeup and a timeless loose updo that lasted for the whole day into the night reception. The loose updo also is designed to compliment her tall and slender figure.
